Ludwig Duerrwaechter, 72, passed away at St. Nicholas hospital, Sheboygan, at 9:15 a.m. today after being a patient there since Sunday.
He was born in Kiel on Dec. 20, 1872, and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Christian Duerrwaechter. His education was received in Kiel schools. Miss Mary Boege of Kiel became his bride on Dec. 18, 1907. After their marriage, they located in Kiel where Mr. Duerrwaechter had a shoe repair shop for many years. For the past 21 years, Mr. and Mrs. Duerrwaechter operated the Commercial hotel at Kiel.
Survivors are his wife, two brothers, Benjamin of Germantown, Wis., and Otto of Kiel; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Barlow, Neenah, and Mrs. Louise Krueger, Los Angeles, Calif.
