Joel Bradford was the son of Joshua Bradford and Anna (Annie) Cleveland.
The couple was living in Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut when he was born.
Joel married Millie Loveland' October 21st, 1807 in Trumbull, Ohio. In 1850, Joel was a Farmer in Windham, Portage, Ohio.

Joel was the grandson of William Bradford and Mary Cleveland, and also
Eleazer Cleveland and Anna Bradford.
He was the great grandson of Lieut. James Bradford and Edith Adams,
and also, Josiah Cleveland and Abigail Paine.
He was the GG Grandson of Thomas Bradford and Anne Raymond, and also Pelatiah Adams and Ruth Parker, and also Josiah Cleveland and
Mary Bates, and also Elisha Paine and Rebecca Doane.
