The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Duecker, pioneer Calumet county residents. He was born Feb. 24, 1860, on the Duecker homestead farm in the town of New Holstein.
June 5, 1889, he was married to Anna Griebenow, and then entered the hardware business in partnership with his brother, John M. Duecker here. The brothers operated the store here for many years.
Mr. Duëcker was a member of the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church, and was active in civic affairs for many years. He at one time served as president of the village of Kiel.
Survivors are two sons, Werner of Pelham, N. Y., and Hubert C., of this city, and two grandsons, John of Pelbam and Daniel of this city. His wife preceded him
in death Jan. 23, 1946; one daughter died in infancy, and six brothers also have passed away.
