BEN RICHARDS, operator of a wagon coal mine near Coal Creek, died at Coal Creek yesterday afternoon. He was stricken with a hemorrhage, and was found half conscious by the roadside. Death came quickly.
Mr. Richards was a brother of Dr. W. D., and Dr. J. H. Richards of Knoxville. He leaves, also, his wife, and sons, Billy, Bobbie, and W. D. Richards; daughter, Mary Ruth; another brother, Tom, of Portland, Ore., and sisters, Mrs. Daisy Richards, Coal Creek; Miss Lizzie Richards, Coal Creek; Mrs. W. H. Brannum, Coal Creek, and Mrs. J. A. Morse, Denver, Col.
