MARGARET (MARGY) GILES ANDERSON

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, age 97, passed away June 28, 1995.

The last surviving daughter of Utah Pioneer Hyrum Lorenzo Giles and Minnie Jensen, was born January 12, 1898 in Holladay, Utah. Married Kenneth W. Anderson, September 18, 1916. That marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Margy was an active member of the LDS Church, holding many positions during her long lifetime. She was a wonderful teacher and enjoyed caring for children and the elderly.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons: Robert K. Anderson and Joseph H. Anderson.

Survived by son, Billy B. (Ruth) Anderson and daughter, M. Marian (Keith) Richardson. Margy left an outstanding legacy of 13 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Family viewing will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South. Graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 South Vine Street.
