Winneconne (WI) News, Sept. 19, 1957: "Dr. A. H. Drews Former Local Dentist Dies - Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 18 for Dr. Arthur H. Drews, 75, who died at 2:10 a.m. Monday at Mercy Hospital after a month's illness. At the time of his death, Dr. Drews was residing at 1021 1/2 Oregon St., Oshkosh.

"Born in the town of Caledonia, May 27, 1882, he attended grade school there before entering Marquette School of Dentistry, graduating in 1908. He practiced dentistry in Mayville for four years, in Winneconne for 25 years and Oshklosh for the past 20 years.

"Surviving are four sons Lt. Col. Reno Drews, Norfol[k], Va., Arthur, Rt. 1, Winneconne, Clarence, Juneau and Wilber, Fremont; four brothers, Robert, Milwaukee, Leo and Walter, Vancouver, Wash., and Herbert, Medford, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. Clara McDonald, Peoria, Ill., Mrs. Celia Einem, Milwaukee and Mrs. Erna Bass, Milwaukee; and one grandchild. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

"Services were held at the C. H. Mueller Funeral Home with the Rev. Harvey Kahrs officiating. Burial was in Winneconne Cemetery. Pallbearers were Howard Drews, Robert Drews, Frank Reinhardt, Harold Einem, Raymond Rehbein and Irvin Rehbein."
