Clara M. McDonald Dies At Age of 94
Mrs. Clara M. McDonald, 94, of 402 E. Republic died at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday [December 25, 1979] at Methodist Medical Center, where she was admitted Sunday.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Women of Trinity, the Senior Citizens group of the church, and the Lutheran Mission Guild.
Born March 25, 1885, in Winchester, Wis., a daughter of Fred and Augusta Voight Drews, she married Joseph McDonald Nov. 12, 1919. He died Nov. 26, 1951, in Peoria. One son, Lawrence E., two sisters and five brothers also preceded her.
Surviving are three brothers, Walter Drews of Vancouver, Wash., Robert Drews of Greendale, Wis., and Herbert Drews, of Medford, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Erna Grapeniller and Mrs. Celia Einem, both of Milwaukee, Wis.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Gerald V. Freudenburg will officiate and burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, New London, Wis. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church.
