She was born July 13, 1912 in Weston, Idaho to William Henry and Josephine Gilbert MInes. Married Albert G. Johnson (the guy next door) March 6, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died October 11, 1987. She was an active member of the LDS Church, and she held many auxillary collings. She served as a stake missionary and as a temple worker. She was an active member of the PTA in the Murray School District. She was a very loving, giving and sharing person.
Survivors: Two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Nola) Buxton, Salt Lake City; Karen Pulley, Murray; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herman G. Mines, Aurora, Colo.; Lowell R. Mines, Murray.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 1995 at 12 noon in the Riverside 1st LDS Ward, 5425 South 600 West. Friends may call at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 11-11:45 a.m.
