Elsie Mae Boyer Garland, 90, died Tuesday December 14, 2004. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Moores Funeral Home with burial in Garland Cemetery in Hancock County. Mrs Garland was a native and life long resident of Hancock County, was a homemaker and member of Linton Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Garland and husband, Noel Garland. Survivors include a daughter, Doris Garland of Linton; four sons, Tommy Garland and wife, Brenda of Linton, Gene Garland of Appling, Theo Garland and wife, Sharon of Milledgeville, Ronnie Garland and wife Jan of Linton; a sister Hazel Stanton of Macon; four brothers, Thomas Boyer, Sterling Boyer, Robert Boyer and Jack Boyer, all of Linton; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis G. Davis of Sparta; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and her beloved Cuddles. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
