Bernice M. Sheets, 79, of South Charleston died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, at home after a long illness. She was a a ballet teacher at Charleston Catholic High School, a member of Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral, Charleston, and a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Surviving: husband, Francis J Sheets; daughters, Carolyn Evans of Bay Springs MS, Dr Pat Sheets of Johnson City TN, Jane Martin of Saint Albans WV; son, Francis Jr of Durham NC; sisters, Sr Agnes de Sales VHM of Wheeling WV, Elizabeth Power of Boulder CO, Marcelline Beckelheimer of Charleston WV; brother, Benjamin Swint of Charleston WV; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral with the Rev. P. Edward Sadie officiating.
