Funeral servicee for Andrew J. Briggs, aged 80 years, who passed away at the Home Ranch at an early hour yesterday morning, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Champion & Shannon chapel. Rev. C. W. Cooper of the Christian church will officiate. The ritualistic ceremonies of the Eagles, of which deceased was a member, will follow the regular sermon, after which the remains will be given a resting place in Mount Hope cemetery.
Besides the widow, the immediate surviving relatives are the two sons - Thurman Briggs of Sheridan an A. B. Briggs of Buffalo.
