Mrs. Penelope Briggs Dies in Buffalo
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Penelope Briggs, of Sheridan, aged 76, who died in this city at the home of her son, A. B. Briggs, were conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home, Rev. Zimmerman officiating. Interment was made in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Briggs was the widow of Andrew J. Briggs and lived in Sheridan for many years. She is survived by two sons, A. B. Briggs, of Buffalo and Thurmond Briggs who lives at the Home ranch near Sheridan. [Buffalo News, 24 September 1925, page 1 - Sub by FoFG]
