Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Leo and EllaMay Green Detrick, she was a member of the United Methodist Church of Throop. She was the 1996 Easter Seals Adult Ambassador of the Northeastern Counties of Pennsylvania.
She loved the time she spent in the Easter Seals Adult Activities Program and with her family. She also loved bowling and playing cards. She was a loving sister and aunt.
Surviving are a sister, Marilyn Mellody, with whom she resided; three brothers, Leo Detrick, Painted Post, N.Y.; and Ronald and Arnold, both of Scranton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and George; and three sisters, Dorothy Zavitsky, Arlene Swaha and Diane Rogo.
The funeral will be Thursday in the Michael Wargo Jr. Funeral Home, 812 E. Scott St., Olyphant, with services at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Joan S. Dodson, pastor, United Methodist Church, Throop. Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
