Mrs. Brownfield of Momence is Dead
Mrs. Bertha Elizabeth Brownfield, 68, died at 11 o'clock Thursday night in her home on East Third Street, Momence.
Funeral Services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Canaday Funeral Home with the Rev. W. Klopfenstine of the Baptist Church officiating. Internment will be in Schrontz Cemetery.
The deceased was born October 4, 1874 and was married to John Brownfield on January 4, 1890. He survives with 10 children, Mrs. Laura Madison of Thayer, Ind., Walter of morocco, Mrs. Minnie Parks of Hammond, Mrs. Stella Newell of Lake Village, Perry, Henry, and Oliver of Chicago, Mrs. Rose Walsh of Denver, Raymond of Martinton, and Earnest at home. A brother D. B. Cox of Lake Village, 36 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of the services.
