Oliver Brownfield Dies; Momence Funeral Friday
St. Anne---Oliver Brownfield, 62, RR 2, St. Anne, died Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital, Danville, after a long illness.
He had been employed by Eastern Illinois Clay Products Company. The son of Mr. & Mrs. John Brownfield, he was born June 11, 1908 in Shelbyville, Indiana.
He was married January 18, 1936 to the former Della Wood who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Irene Nolan of St. Anne; a granddaughter Genia Kay Nolan; and a sister Mrs. Rose Walsh of Denver, Colorado.
The Rev. Robert Spencer will conduct the funeral services at 2 pm Friday at the Canaday-Boos Funeral Home, Momence, where there will be visitation from 2 to 9 pm today. Burial will be in Lake Village Cemetery.
