1969 May 6 - Mount Morris - Orville L Hill was born Wednesday 4 Mar 1914 in Cheboygan to William R & Emma R Hill. He moved to Flint and had been a resident of the area for 40 years. He married Violet M Yager Wednesday 3 Jul 1940 in Flint. He was employed as a maintenance painter at Chevrolet Assembly prior to a disability retirement in 1967.

Orville L Hill of Rt 1 Levering died Tuesday 06 May 1969 at the age 55 y 2 m 2 d at Hurley Hospital in Flint. Survivors included his wife, Violet of Levering; 2 sons, William C Hill of Flint and Orville J Hill of Levering; 2 daughters, Sandra Kay & Gerald Rogers of Levering, and Judith A Hill at home in Levering; 4 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Silas William Hill, and Russell Melvin Hill both of Flint, Oliver L Hill of Levering, and Wilford E Hill; 4 sisters, Muriel (Mrs. Richard) Seeley of Flint, Grace Imogene & Herbert Arthur Yager of Flushing, Millicent (Mrs. Gerald) Worley of East Detroit, and Dorothy (Mrs. Benedict) Borowicz of Cheboygan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William 02 Feb 1963 & Emma 17 Nov 1943; 3 brothers, Ralph Thomas Hill 17 May 1925, John A Hill 22 Jan 1927, Alger W Hill 19 Apr 1934; and 3 sisters, Virgina Henreitta Hill 27 Jan 1931, Marilyn Marie Hill 16 Apr 1925, and Anita Rose Hill 11 May 1938.

Visitation was at Nordman Funeral Home in Cheboygan. Funeral services were Friday 09 May 1969 at the Nordman Funeral Home.

Burial was in Munro Cemetery in Weadock.
