Grace Imogene (Hill) Yager of 423 Emily St in Flushing died Friday 16 May 1975 at the age of 42 y 7 m 0 d at McLaren General Hospital in Flint. Survivors included her husband, Herbert of Flushing; 4 daughters, Rose & Ray Murdock of Flint, Debra & Dan Harger of Montrose, Bonnie & Stan Rood of Birch Run, and Vickie Yager at home; 3 brothers, Silas Hill and Melvin Hill both of Flint, and Oliver Hill of Cheboygan; 3 sisters, Mrs Muriel Seeley of Flint, Dorothy & Benjamin Browicz of Cheboygan, and Millicent & Gerald Worley of Detroit; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George W & Nora Ellen (Grames) Yager of Cadillac; 6 grandchildren, Rae Jean Murdock, Randy Murdock, Jackie Harger, Angie Harger, Shawn Harger and Danny Harger; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant son, Herbert Arthur Yager Jr.
Visitation was 6-9 pm Sunday 17 May 1975 at the Rossell Funeral Home in Flushing. Funeral services were 1 pm Monday 18 May 1975 at the Rossell Funeral Home with the Rev Carolyn Beatley officiating.
Burial was in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Flint.
Note: She was killed as the result of an accident that occurred on the Main St River bridge in Flushing. She had been riding her bicycle on the sidewalk when she fell off the walk and into the wheels of a semi-trailer. She had lived in Flushing for 13 years and at the time of her death.
