She was born in Richland county April 5, 1879, the daughter of John and Ida Forbes. Her life was spent in Richland county except for two and a half years when she resided in Savannah.
November 30, 1899, she was married to Robert Milton Henderson who survives along with three daughters, Mrs. K. S. Weaver of Ashland, R. D., Mrs. Willard Biddinger of Savannah and Mrs. Earl Lemmel of Shiloh, R. D.; a son J. Vernon Henderson of McComb; nine grandsons and one great-grandson.
Four brothers, Jay, Roy and Blaine of Shiloh R. D. and Harve of Sandusky; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Hendryx of Cleveland and Mrs. Will McClintock of Shiloh R. D. also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and one sister.
Mrs. Henderson was a member of the Methodist division of the Savannah Federated church, W. S. C. S. Ladies Aid and W. C. T. U.
