MONTICELLO - Services were held in the Oakvale Baptist church Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Charlie A. Bourne, 67, resident of the Oakvale community for a number of years. Mrs. Bourne died in the Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
Mrs. Bourne was buried in the Goodwater cemetery in Simpson county. She was married to Charlie A. Bourne in 1929. She had lived in Oakvale since that time.
She leaves her husband; two step-daughters, Mrs. Clyde Daniel, Prentiss and Mrs. Eugene Bingham, New Orleans, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Sam P. Jones, Magee and Mrs. R. W. Wells, Bisbee, Arizona; eight brothers: Joseph Liston Flynt, Cincinnati, Ohio; Wayne A. Flynt, Mt. Olive; William Vardaman Flynt, D'Lo; Robert D. Flynt, Mendenhall; Troy R. Flynt, Rose Hill, Chastaine Flynt, Flowood, the Rev. A. L. Flynt, Pontotoc and Thomas C. Flynt, Gulfport.
