The Acker family were pioneer residents of Fillmore County, living near Exeter and in Geneva and Tobias before moving to Fairbury in 1948. Mrs. Acker died several years ago.
Survivors include seven children, Mrs. Isabell August of Wichita, Kas., Mrs. M. C. (Doris) Babb of White Salmon, Wash., Mrs. Marshall (Betty) Toelle of Seattle, Wash., George B. Acker of Denver, Harold C. Acker and Richard of Fairbury and Marion F. Acker of Omaha; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 30, at Fairbury, Rev. James Green officiated. Interment was in the Tobias Cemetery. Grandsons acted as pallbearers.
