C.S. Aker, living near Martland, whose wife had gone to Iowa on a visit, received a telegram that she was dead. She had been in poor health for some time and thought a visit to her old home would be beneficial to her. She seemed to stand the trip very well but was suddenly taken worse and died in a short time. Mr Aker started at once and will bring the remains back for interment. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the whole community in this their sad and sudden loss.
