Georgia Ann Shultz Gilbert, 81, of 1309 Shoally Creek Road, Spartanburg, died June 28, 1990, at her home.
A native of Ally, Oklahoma, she had lived most of her life in Spartanburg County. She was the wife of James Pinkney "Pink" Gilbert of the home and daughter of the late George Hunt and Joanne Evans Schultz. she was the last member of her immediate family of eleven children. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
Also surviving are a son, James Frederick Gilbert of Spartanburg; four daughters, Peggy Westbrook of Chesnee, Inez Hinson of Chadbourn, NC., Georgialene Gowan of Inman and Norma Jean Cantrell of Cowpens; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel by the Revs. Weldon Burnett Jr. and Eugene Epley. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens
