Viola Goodyard
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, in Dallas, Ore., for Viola Mae "Vi" Goodyard of Springfield, who died April 16 of an unknown cause. She was 83.
She was born Feb. 1, 1926, in Falls City to William and Bell Wolf Teal.
She married Thomas Henry Goodyard on Sept. 3, 1943, in Falls City.
She worked as an aide at the Fairview Center in Salem before retiring in 1968.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sharon Gonzalez of Burns and Carol Goodyard of Springfield; a son, Henry Goodyard of Springfield; and three sisters, Erma Ferguson, Eva Belle Seymour and Vesta Delaney.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, April 20, at Bollman Funeral Home in Dallas.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, also at the funeral home. Burial at Dallas Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
