KNOX -- Funeral services for Cyrus Smith, 402 W. John St., who died Friday night in Starke Memorial Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Harry Price Funeral Home. Rev. Hobart Lyons, pastor of the Christian Church, and Robert Edgell Jr., of the Jehovah's Witnesses, will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home. Mr. Smith has been ill three years. He was born in Thomaston, Ind., Sept. 18, 1875, and had lived in Knox 66 years. He was a retired painter and decorator. Surviving is his widow, Della Poorman, whom he married June 5, 1895, in North Judson. Other survivors are three daughters, Miss Vada Smith, Mrs. Lura Sands and Mrs. Iris Jorgenson, all of Knox; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Miss Lida D. Smith, of Knox.
