Obituary:
Mrs. Elva Jenkins Potter, 49, of Arlington died Sunday morning in an Arlington hospital after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Potter; two sons, Thomas D. Potter, Jr. of Arlington and Arthur Potter of Miami, Fla.; two grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Jenkins, Sr. of Kilmarnock; six sisters, Mrs. Doris Sanford of Washington, Mrs. Oleta Havelock of Levittown, Pa.; Mrs. Gleniss Crowther and Mrs. Mavis Haynie, both of Kilmarnock, Mrs. Aura Faye Hicks of Fredericksburg and Mrs. Lila Rose of Foxwells, and one brother, D. C. Jenkins, Jr. of Kilmarnock.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Murphy's Funeral Home, Arlington. Elder Arthur D. Wetmore, former pastor of Kilmarnock Seventh-day Adventist Church, conducted the services. Burial took place in Arlington.
