Obituary:
Mrs. Dorris Jenkins Sanford, 74, of Nokesville, widow of Morrison Sanford, formerly of Palmer, died Tuesday, June 3.
She is survived by a son James Burns, of Olney, MD.; a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Flory of Nokesville; five sisters, Mrs. Gleniss Crowther and Mrs. Mavis Haynie, both of Kilmarnock, Mrs. Lila M. Rose of Foxwells, Mrs. Aura Faye Hicks of Fredericksburg and Oleta Havelock of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, D. C. Jenkins, Jr. of Kilmarnock; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at Elmore and Haynie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday with burial at Christ Church Cemetery.
