Belzorah "Bell Zora" Ann Hargrove-Colson
Texas Death Certificate #13095, Houston, Harris County, Texas.

BELZORAH "BELLE ZORA" ANN HARGROVE-COLSON was born on 19 October 1855 in Hopkins County, Texas to James William Hargrove & Dorinda E. Couch-Hargrove.

Belle married Joseph William Colson 28 May 1871 in Grimes County, Texas, and they had SEVEN children (that are known of): Two unnamed infant deaths, Lillie Colson-Hensley (1872-1946), John J. Colson (1874-1926), Joseph William "Willie" Colson Jr. (1878-1893), Ida Frances Colson-Schmick (1882-1962), and Marion Crawford Colson (1886-1954).

Belle passed away on 19 March 1934 in Iola, and was buried at the Zion Methodist Cemetery in Iola, Grimes County, Texas.

15 June 1900 Precinct 2, Grimes County, Texas Census, (ED: 19, Stamped 75A, Sheet 13A, Family #180, Line 37), Husband's Household, Joseph Colson. NOTE: Four of Seven Children Living according to this census.

We know one child, Joseph William "Willie" Colson passed away on 29 November 1893. But the other two children's names are not known. Please contact if you have information about the other two children who passed away prior to the 1900 census.
