NOTE: The Will of Beasley dated April 2, 1831 has the last name spelled Prewitt. Beasley's grandson Elisha spelled his name Prewitt and Elisha has many recorded documents with this spelling and all of Elisha's decendants used the spelling Prewitt. We don't know why they used the spelling Pruett on the headstone.

There are many different spellings through the years and linking to the different memorials would be fine without changing all memorials.
