RAMSEUR, Sept. 24, - Peter Allred, 84, died today at his home in Franklinville after an extended illness. he was a native of Randolph County. Surviving are his wife, former Miss Lizzie Ellen Maner; three daughters, Mrs. C. B. Thomas of Franklinville, Mrs. R. C. Kimrey, Ramseur, and Mrs. Roy Smith of Route 1, Asheboro; two sons, Connie and Mike Allred, both of Franklinville; 24 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Boles of Wichita, Kans., and Mrs. Lurena Bowlsby of Portland, Ore.; one brother, Norman Allred, Asheboro, Funeral Will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the home. Burial will follow in the Franklinville Methodist Church Cemetery.
