Mrs. L. Bryan Buried Thursday

Services were held at the Pinckney Baptist Church on Thursday, September 12, at 3:00 p.m. for Mrs. Lizzie L. Bryan, who died at Laird Hospital on September 11.

Mrs. Bryan was the former Lizzie Loper, daughter of the Sarah Bloodser. Mrs. Bryan was a housekeeper, and was a member of the Pinckney baptist Church.

She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Eunice Stamper of Decatur, Mrs. Mattie Bell Williams of Union, Mrs. Alice Leach of Union, Mrs. Bessie Allen of Walnut Grove, Mrs. Lois Blackburn of Conehatta, Mrs. Loyd Wright of Jackson; three sons Willie Bryan of Decatur, Rev. Lewis Bryan of Meridian, and Dee Bryan of Decatur; twenty grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Blackburn of Rollingfork, Miss., Lou Ella Loper of Conehatta, and Mrs. Dorothy Rutledge of Texas.

All of Mrs. Bryan's grandsons served as pall bearers, and the Revs. James L. Clark and Ferrell Cork officiated at the services. Interment was at White Plains cemetery, with Stephens Funeral Home in charge.
