Miss Louella Loper, 78, of Conehatta died in Laird Hospital, Union, Sunday, Oct. 22, 1972, following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Newton County, born July 26, 1894. She was a Methodist. Methodist.
Her funeral was held at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at the White Plains Church of Conehatta, with the Revs John Hayes Jones and W. J. Watkins officiating. Interment followed in the White Plains Cemetery, Wilcox Funeral Home of Carthage directing.
She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Rutledge Graves of Highland, Tex., and Mrs. Ruby Mae Blackburn of Holly Springs; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers at the rites were Randall Jones, Kenneth Graham, Charles Graham, Bernie Jones, Jimmy Jones and Hubert Jones.
