Services for Ruby Opal Johnson, 69, of Lubbock will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home with Hoytt W. Rachels officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
She died Friday, May 14, 1999, in Lubbock Health Care Center.
She was born July 30, 1929, in Stanfield Ranch. She married Clifford Johnson on July 15, 1945, in Tokio. She was a homemaker and taught Sunday school at Tabernacle Baptist, College Heights Baptist, Bible Baptist in Quanah and Butler Heights Baptist Church. A son, Loren, died in 1994.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Dean, Ronnie and Terry; a daughter, Rita Simmons; four brothers, Leroy Burt, Charles Wayne Burt, Jimmy Dale Burt and Billy Jack Burt; two sisters, Ruth Martinka and Betty Northam; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
