Maria Elizabeth Leneschmidt was born on Dec. 17, 1870 at Saratov, Volga Region, Russia to Christian and Sophia (Yager) Leneschmidt.
She married Johannes Hauff on Nov. 25, 1888 in Russia. They immigrated to the United States in 1889. Together they had twelve children.
Maria is survived by five sons, John George, John Carl, Frederick, Jacob and Walter; and three daughters, Anna, Clara and Martha.
She was preceded by her husband Johannes; three sons, Henry, William and Edwin; and one daughter, Elizabeth.
