David James Allen III 61yrs old died March 30th 2009 at Delta Health Care nursing home of respiratory failure. David had Lung Cancer. David was born & raised in Plant City Fl off Sam Allen Road where he walked almost daily to downtown. David was unusually tall at 7'4" and wore a 17EEE shoe. His mentality was that of a 10 yrs old due to being so large at birth it cracked his skull. David was a sweet & kind gentle giant. David was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Charles Allen, Father David "DJ" James Allen Jr, Mother Julia Rhea Sikes Allen all of Plant City Fl. Grandparents, David James Allen Sr & Mamie McDaniel Allen of Lithia Fl.
David's cermains were placed at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in the Allen family plot in Lithia beside his Mother.
