Mrs. Elsie Klauck, 91, a former Kiel resident, died Tuesday night, at Chilton Village Nursing Home, where she was a resident for the past five years.
The former Elsie Menne was born Oct. 30, 1896 at Kiel, the daughter of the late Phillip and Lena (Becker) Menne. She attended Kiel Public Schools. On Feb. 11, 1919, she married Arthur Klauck at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. He preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1968. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and its Christian Mother's Society, the Catholic Order of Lady Foresters, Gold Star Mother of the Kiel VFW and the Kiel Senior Citizens.
Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, John and Jeanette Klauck of Kiel; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Robinson of Milwaukee and Mrs. Donald (Louise) Geirach of Mequon; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hilda Jeanty of Kiel. She was preceded in death by a sister, a brother, a son, Eugene; and an infant daughter, Mary.
A funeral Mass will be at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, the Rev. Thomas Leannah, pastor, Celebrant. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.
