1/21/1898 Obituary in the Davis County Clipper reads:
"Mrs. Elizabeth Pace Cooper, daugther of Edwin and Mary Brown Pace, and wife of Albert Cooper, died at the home of her parents, in South Bountiful, at an early hour Wednesday morning, of childbed fever, after an illness of about a month. The family resided in Salt Lake until her sickness. Deceased was twenty-eight years of age and leaves a husband, four children, the oldest being seven years and the youngest, one month old; and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral services will be held in the South Ward meeting house, on Saturday at 1 o'clock p.m. The sympathy of the community is extended to those who are bereaft."
1/28/1898 Clipper reads:
"The funeral services over the remains of Elizabeth Pace Cooper were postponed from Saturday to Sunday. They were held at 1 p.m. and Elder C. W. Stayner spoke the funeral sermon."
