In her Last Will & Testament, dated 8 Nov 1912 .. I, Christina Watt Galbraith of Woodville, widow, appoint my sons Hugh and William(Galbraith) of Woodville aforesaid Storekeepers and Drapers, hereinafter called my Trustees, I give to my said sons in equal shares all money which shall be owing by them to me and I devise and bequeath my real and the residue of my personal property except books, to my daughters Margaret Orr, Elizabeth, Isabella Watt and Christina Watt in equal shares and I direct that my books shall not be sold but shall be divided amongst my children as, when and how my said Trustees shall decide ..
. NOTE . by the names of the daughters, Christina's maiden name could be a previous marriage name

A very old resident of the Woodville district, Mrs C. Galbraith, who recently sustained a rather serious accident, passed away on Sunday morning.

The many friends of Mrs Christina Galbraith, a very old resident of this district, will regret to learn that the shock sustained by her recently-reported accident, resulted in her death.

Manawatu Standard, 20 Aug 1929 - Woodville
* A very old resident of the Woodville district, in the person of Mrs Christian Galbraith, passed away on Sunday, her death being the result of a recent accident.
* The friends of Mrs R. R. Birss, of Woodville, will regret to hear that her daughter Betty died in the Dannevirke hospital on Sunday evening from rheumatic fever. She was ill only a few days.
* Woodville sustained a further loss yesterday when Mrs Anna Ollson passed away at the residence of her son in McLean street. The deceased lady was the relict of Mr Hans Olsson and had attained the age of 83 years.
* Mr Peterson of Woodville, is also seriously ill.
* The friends of Mr E. J. Harding, Papatawa, will regret to hear of the serious illness from pneumonia of his eldest son.
* Mr G. W. Wardrop, Woodville, who has been in the Pahiatua hospital, has recovered sufficiently to be able to return to his home.
