Gorham, 52, of Jonesville died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in Baton Rouge General Hospital, Baton Rouge.
He was a native of Joyce. He was ordained to the ministry in 1969 in Hurricane Creek Baptist Church near Dodson. He was pastor of Mount Herman Baptist Church, Jonesville.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Gorham of Jonesville; one son, James Ray Gorham Jr. of Jonesville; two daughters, Katherine Williams of Jonesville and Mary Jane Edwards of Vidalia; four brothers, Mack Gorham of Pineville, V. J. Gorham of Columbia and Woody Gorham and Jerry Gorham, both of Joyce; three sisters, Marie Sutton of Sikes, Doyle Lowery of Dodson and Jewell Sikes of Urania; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
