Mrs. Bowen was born in Kempsville, VA and was a Retailer in Sales. She was a former resident of Kitty Hawk, NC, former owner and operator of sporting goods store on the Outer Banks and a former Galleon employee.
She was the daughter of the late William Henry and Lorena Estelle Eley Dews and the wife of the late Hayden Eugene Bowen.
