November 14, 1942, she married Kenneth "Sock" Baier in Cissna Park; he survives in Watseka.
Mrs. Baier worked as a Wal-Mart Associate before becoming the secretary for Baier Funeral Home until her retirement.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Watseka where she was a past long time Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Baier played in the Ladies Bridge Group and enjoyed reading, fishing, playing solitaire, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid Chicago Bulls fan.
Also surviving Mrs. Baier are one son, Roy Baier and Kim Humphrey of Watseka; one daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Richard Wiseman of Rensselaer, Ind.; two sisters, Mary Lou Conlin of Watseka, and Eva Newlin of Minnesota; three grandchildren, Julie and Craig Massey of Watseka, Ken Baier and fiancé, Lanita de Beer, of Watseka, and Abbey Baier of Champaign; three great grandchildren, Alec, Jani and Nate Massey, all of Watseka; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Baier is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, four sisters, and one son, Lloyd Baier.
