Louise Glore Estes, 92, formerly of 276 Sand Hill Road, died Friday, Sept 1, 1995, at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center.
Born in Atlanta, Ga, she was a daughter of the late James Crawford and Essie Lee Glore and wife of Ray Estes Sr, who died in 1966. She had lived in Asheville for 68 years and was a charter member of Westside Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Estes of Asheville; son, Ray Estes Jr, of Virginia Beach, Va; sisters, Dorothy Langley of Jacksonvile, Fla, Frances Alexander of Lithonia, Ga; grandson, James Estes of Chesapeake, Va.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home.
Services will be at 11 am Tuesday at Horis Ward Funeral Home, Fairview Chapel, Atlanta, Ga, with interment in Crestlawn Cemetery with the Rev Noel Swanson officiating.
