Robert E. Hogenmiller, 60, Adrian RD1 died Friday, April 17, 1998 at his residence. He was born Nov. 29, 1937 in Washington Township to Earl and Blanche (Toy) Hogenmiller. Mr. Hogenmiller was employed at Bethlehem Steel and retired in 1982 from Logan Clay Products. He had served two terms as Washington Township tax collector. He was a member of the Brush Valley Brethren Church, Adrian RD1, where he helped coordinate the Brushwood Derby. He was a member of the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Company; the Armstrong County Firemen's Association and the Western Pennsylvania Firemen's Association. He was a former troop leader for the Cub Scouts Troop 655. He was a member of the Brush Valley Bowling League. He enjoyed bowling and playing bingo as his hobbies. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Esther (Crissman) Hogenmiller, whom he married on Nov. 21, 1959; one son, Robert M. Hogenmiller of Adrian; and one daughter, Debbie L. Burrows of Butler; seven grandchildren; one step-grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Stanford of Bud Lake, N. J., Barbara Bowser and Mary Ann Brown, both of Kittanning one half brother, Earl Hogenmiller of Warren, Ohio and one half-sister,, Lois Sanko of Rossiter. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Frank and William Hogenmiller. HOGENMILLER – Friends of Robert E. Hogenmiller, 60, Adrian RD1, who died April 17, 1998, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., A Forethought Member, Cowansville, where the Washington Township Volunteer Firemen will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Sunday. Additional visitation will be held at the Brush Valley Brethren Church, Adrian RD1 from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Murphy, Officiating. Interment will take place in the Brush Valley Cemetery, Adrian RD1. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of the Brush Valley Brethren Church. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
