Earl Joseph Hogenmiller, Jr. passed away at Vibra Hospital on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
He was born on April 29, 1927 in Kittanning, Pa to Earl Joseph and Flora A. (Henry) Hogenmiller.
He married Michelina DiPerna on Oct. 29, 1949 and they spent 70 years together.
He joined the Army right after High School and served 18 months with the 3rd Armored Division in Germany. Upon returning home he got a job as an office technician with United Telephone Company, retiring in 1983 with 31 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Michelina of Warren, his son Jeffrey Michael of Warren and his grandsons Anthony Hogenmiller and Michael Rumbaugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his oldest son Dennis Earl Hogenmiller and his sister Lois Elaine (Hogenmiller) Sanko.
He was also preceded in death by 3 half-brothers, William Charles in 1978, Robert Earl in 1998 and Frank who was killed in Vietnam in 1968; 2 half-sisters, Barbara Lee Bowser in 2000 and Mary Ann Brown in 2005.
In accordance with Earl's wishes , there was no visitation and his remains were cremated. Arrangements were entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home
