Bountiful Man Dies At Trenton

The remains of John D. Fackrell, former residence of Woods Cross, were brought here for burial, Friday, Sept 24.

The funeral services were held in Trenton, where he died at his home, Tuesday afternoon, Sept 21, after an illness of four weeks. He had been a sufferer for twenty years.

He was born May 4, 1861, in West Bountiful and lived there until he was twenty years old, then he moved to Randolph with his father, Joseph C. Fackrell. There he married Louie Belcher. Later he moved to Vernal, Utah where he lived about six years, returning to Randolph later.

Ten years ago, he moved to Trenton where he was engaged in farming until about four years ago, when he was taken to his bed with leakage of the heart.

He is survived by his wife, Louie Belcher and nine children A.D. Fackrell, Randolph, Utah, Estella Boodrey, Smthfield, Utah, Nora Pullnum, Butte, Mont. Everett, Leorna, Susie Orland, Elton and Mrytle Fackrell of Trenton. He is also survived by three brothers and six sisters.

The funeal was held in the Trenton meeting house where a large number of friends and relatives came to pay their last respects. Bishop Neilson presided. The choir sang, "Shall We Meet Beyond the River", prayer was offered by Bro. J.T. Lott. The choir sang, "Near My God to Thee". The speakers were Bros. L. J. Funk, James Howard, Sr., Elmer Robinson and G. A. Fife.

The T.R. Terry quartet sang two selections "O My Father" was the last hymn and Bro. E. B. Bingham gave the benediction.

A number of relatives and friends met the train at Woods Cross and proceeded to the cemetery James Howard, Jr. dedicated the grave.
