Beloved Women Dies in Corvallis After Much Intense Suffering.

Corvallis, April 17. (Special) Mrs. Annie Adams died a 1 o'clock yesterday at her home two and one half miles north of town. following a week of intense suffering resulting from burns received on April 8, when her clothing caught fire from a bonfire in the yard. No arrangements will be made for the funeral until her brother in California and a sister in Kansas are heard from.

Mrs. Adams, as Anna Thomas, was born in Wales on April 10, 1852. At the age of 15 years she came to America, and a few years later was married in Kansas to John Quincy Adams. Fourteen years ago the family moved to Montana from Colorado and two years later Mr. Adams died.

Mrs. Adams was of lovable disposition and won friends wherever she was known. The entire community is grieved over her demise and extends sincere sympathy to the bereaved children-Mrs. Kate Jordy of Meridian Idaho, Mrs. W. W. Burns of Hamilton, Mrs. A. B. Stryker, John and Orion Adams of Corvallis. A brother Griffith Thomas of Corvallis and the brother in California and the sister in Kansas also survive Mrs. Adams.
