Christian was survived by his wife the former Catherine Honderich; six daughters, Marie Schwartzentruber, Catherine Zehr, Magdalena Yantzi, Elizabeth Zehr, Barbara Bender, and Lydia Roth; five sons John, Christian, Jacob, Daniel, and Joseph.
