Myrtle Foster: Loved people: Feb 15, 1909- Dec 25, 2003:
Montrose-Myrtle Foster, 94, passed away on Christmas, Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at the Horizon's Nursing Home. Myrtle was born in Cumberland, Wyo. on Feb. 15, 1909 to Jonas and Christina Anderson. She was one of 12 children; all preceded her in death. She met and married Dean A. Foster, Jan. 29, 1944, in Montrose, Colo., later sealed in Manti Temple. For many years they owned and operated Ikie's Trailer Park in Montrose. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since Dean's death she lived in South Carolina with her sons, then returned to live near her daughter. Myrtle loved people. All were her friends-all were her family; her children (3), grandchildren (12), and great-grandchildren (9), her church family and her business family. She will love and miss you all. Survivors include her children: Jerry and Lynette Foster of Monks Corner, S.C.; Leslie and Marcia Foster of Charleston, S.C.; and Alana Foster of Austin, Colo. Arrangements are being handled under the direction of Montrose Valley Funeral Home, 249-4400.
