-LYMAN- Funeral services for Eldon "Benny" Anderson, 79, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Lyman L.D.S. Chapel. Interment will be in the Lyman Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston.
-Mr. Anderson died Dec. 11, 1997, at his home in Lyman.
-He was born Dec. 12 [misprint], 1917, in Denver and was adopted by Jonas and Christina (Larson) Anderson when he was 3 weeks old.
-He spent most of his life in Lyman as a rancher. He retired from Mountain Fuel Supply Co., after completing 36 years of service at age 65.
-He dedicated his life to his wife and family. He loved the outdoors and shared that love with his family and friends.
-He enjoyed people and was a friend to everyone.
-He especially enjoyed the activities at the Senior Citizens Center and was an active member of the LDS Church.
-He married Lorris Fackrell on July 19, 1938, in Farmington, Utah, and they shared 59 years of marriage. They had two children.
-Surviors include his wife of Lyman; a daughter Madelon Bates and her husband of Mesquite, Nev., three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Myrtle Foster of Charleston, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
-He was preceded in death by a son, Benny.
-Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the services Monday.
