Garry L. Torrey, 62, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.
Garry was born in Greene, NY on November 8, 1946, a son of Avery and Geneva Torrey. He was employed at S&D Petroleum in Cincinnatus where he worked as an LP delivery person and a service technician. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 until 1970.
In addition to his parents, Avery and Geneva Torrey of Cincinnatus, he is survived by his significant other; a son; 2 brothers;3 sisters; his paternal grandmother, Bertha Deuel; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A private graveside service with military honors will be at Westview Cemetery in German at a later date and time.
