He was born in Canada, son of Roch and Adeline St. Jean, and had resided here 45 years. Mr. St. Jean retired two years ago when the American Railway Express Co., at Union Depot was closed after 35 years of employment with that company. He was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Mary's Church and of Whip City Council, K of C.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Armand R. St. Jean, Eugene J.F. St. Jean and Raymond St. Jean, all of this city; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Albert St. Jean of Waterbury, Conn., and Arthur St. Jean of St. Jude, Canada; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Comeau of Sherbrook, Canada, and Mrs. Albertine Bechard of Springfield.
